March’s colorway was called Your Joy Will Turn to Ashes in Your Mouth.
*”I will hurt you for this. I don’t know how yet, but give me time. A day will come when you think yourself safe and happy, and suddenly your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth, and you’ll know the debt is paid.” – Tyrion Lannister*
Who’s with me on not getting married in Westeros? Because those parties just never seem to turn out well. Readers of the book have long called Joffrey’s Big Day “The Purple Wedding”, for – and spoilers, if you haven’t read the book or seen the show – for him choking to death under somewhat mysterious, and completely deserved, circumstances. Regardless of who did the deed, Tyrion gets the blame… partly because of the quote above, and partly because Cersci sees this as a chance to finally rid herself of a brother she never wanted.
If you opted for sock, the yarn was a new yarn that I am completely over the moon over, Yolen; a 70% Superwash Wool, 20% cashmere, 10% Nylon blend which gets 6-8 stitches on a US 0-2. If you like Marion even just a titch, Yolen will push you over the edge into Cashmere love … pronounced “luuuuuuurve”. I mean it, y’all… I am completely dippy over this yarn.
If you opted for Worsted, the yarn was Carolyn, an 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon blend that gets 4-5 stitches to the inch on a US 6-9.
Sad that you missed out? The next round of club is open for a little under two more weeks!
